How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Summary Understanding how to exploit the maximum potential from a permit requires understanding the big picture, the full depositional environment and structural history of a basin or reservoir. This can only be achieved by intensive working of data from a field and its surrounding influential landscape. Late in a field’s life it is difficult to justify expensive reprocessing to merge seismic volumes of different vintages to chase the uninterpreted less obvious prospects, plays, and left behind hydrocarbons. SeisMomentum took on the challenge to create a workflow to merge post-stack seismic volumes, whilst retaining each individual surveys quality for seismic stratigraphic analysis, to ensure the data is not interpolated onto a common grid and compromised. To assist the pre-merge workflow, we built our own software ‘Solarium’ with assistance from Claude AI ( Anthropic, 2026 ) to speed up the process of pre-merge conditioning. Thereby reducing merge projects from months to weeks, depending on the survey area and initial data condition. In this paper SeisMomentum Co-director, Michele D’Ath-Woodd, will present the ‘Taranaki Panaorama 3D’, a merged dataset that extends from the southern to northern Taranaki coastline along the hydrocarbon commercially productive belt; the inputs, outputs, and workflows to get there.
