How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines global experience and current trends in college design as a specific type of educational complex that shapes a flexible, multifunctional, and practice-oriented learning environment. The study is based on the analysis of architectural and planning solutions implemented in Pasadena City College, De Anza College, Berufsschule Aarau, Harlow College, Fanshawe College Innovation Village, and Mohawk College Joyce Centre. The aim of the research is to identify the contemporary approaches that define the development of modern colleges. Comparative, typological, and graph-analytical methods were applied. Special attention is given to spatial flexibility, the integration of academic, social, and practical functions, the development of communication areas, environmental sustainability, and adaptability. The study shows that contemporary college architecture is moving away from rigid monofunctional schemes toward integrated campus-based and multifunctional models. The findings may be used in thedesign of new colleges and in the modernization of existing institutions in Kazakhstan.
