How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan plays a key role in ensuring food security, sustainable regional development, and the socio-economic stability of rural areas. In the context of increasing climate impacts, rising production costs, and the need to modernize agriculture, state support in the form of subsidy programs and investment incentives is of particular importance. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of government programs and subsidies on the preservation and utilization of agricultural products in the agro-industrial complex of the Zhetysu Region. The study analyzes the volumes of state subsidies and key financial, production, and infrastructure indicators of the regional agro-industrial complex for the period 2022–2024. The impact of state support on crop yields, gross output, the development of storage and processing infrastructure, as well as loss levels at different stages of the production cycle, is examined. Special attention is given to economic and social effects, including profitability, rural population incomes, and employment. The methodological framework is based on statistical, comparative, and econometric analysis methods using official data from government authorities and analytical sources, as well as principles of public audit, including assessments of effectiveness, efficiency, and targeted use of budget funds. The results indicate a positive trend in the key development indicators of the agro-industrial complex of the Zhetysu Region under conditions of state support. A statistical relationship between the volume of subsidies and performance indicators has been identified, which requires further quantitative verification using extended econometric models.
