How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Aktoty Raimkulova's ballet "Kozy Korpesh – Bayan Sulu", choreographed by Georgy Kovtun and staged at the Astana Ballet Theatre, is a significant work in contemporary Kazakhstani ballet. The performance interprets the national epic through the integration of music, choreography, set design, lighting, and costume. The aim of this study is to identify the features of the scenographic design and its role in creating a coherent artistic image. The analysis reveals that the set design is based on the symbolic use of balbal-like stone structures, the World Tree, the steppe landscape, light, and shadow. These elements help convey the transition between the earthly and otherworldly realms, enhance the tragic tone of the plot, and emphasize its mythopoetic nature. Raimkulova's music, which includes lyrical, mystical, and genre-based episodes, guides the development of the performance's visual imagery. In the finale, the restrained design shifts the focus to light, music, and the sacred meaning of the epic.
