How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The study aimed to evaluate prosecutorial oversight in civil cases in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The methodology combined theoretical and legal analysis of constitutional foundations, comparative analysis of procedural forms of prosecutorial participation, interpretation of statistical data from 2023-2025, and forecasting methods. This approach enabled assessment of the transition towards a service-oriented oversight model and the future development of prosecutorial functions. The findings confirmed the transformation of prosecutorial activity in Kazakhstan, highlighting the prosecutor’s role in ensuring compliance with child-friendly justice standards. Particular attention was paid to the digitalisation of oversight, including the integration of functions into the Kundelik and Dara Bala systems and the introduction of the prosecutorial filter, which contributed to reducing administrative barriers and strengthening preventive control. The study demonstrated the potential effectiveness of digital mechanisms, including AI-based monitoring of psychosocial risks among adolescents and proactive tracking of debtor assets in child support enforcement cases. The legal position of prosecutors in civil proceedings was shown to correspond with the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, including protection of minors’ right to be heard. It was established that combining specialised prosecutorial mechanisms for protecting the rights of minors with digital analytics tools and improved asset monitoring mechanisms may contribute to increasing the effectiveness of judicial enforcement. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying the obtained results to improve prosecutorial oversight, digitalise mechanisms for protecting minors’ rights, and enhance the effectiveness of judicial enforcement in cases involving children
