How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines the essence and importance of culture-based education in the higher education system of Kazakhstan in the context of globalization. It is proved that education based on the principle of cultural conformity contributes to the formation of a harmonious, spiritually rich, and morally mature personality rooted in national traditions and open to intercultural interaction. The theoretical foundations of this principle are revealed in the context of the ideas of domestic and foreign teachers — Ya.A. Komensky, K. D. Ushinsky, L. S. Vygotsky, al-Farabi, Abai, and Shakarim. It is shown that culture-based education integrates spiritual, moral, and cultural values, forming students' national identity, tolerance, and readiness for a dialogue of cultures. The methodological basis of the research was made up of theoretical and analytical, historical and pedagogical, comparative and cultural methods, which made it possible to identify the essential characteristics of culturally-based education and determine the pedagogical conditions for its effective implementation in university practice. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the systematization of modern approaches to culture-based education and clarifying its role in the formation of intercultural competence of students. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of using the results obtained in the development of programs for the spiritual, moral, and ethno-cultural education of young people in higher education. The conclusion is made about the importance of the ideas of al-Farabi, Abai and Shakarim as a methodological basis for culture-based education aimed at forming a personality that combines respect for national culture with openness to world experience.
