How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Determining efficient and environmentally safe air purification methods is one of the relevant scientific problems. The purpose of this work is to analyze air purification methods, compare their effectiveness, identify environmentally promising alternatives, and evaluate the possibility of their application in the air intake system of internal combustion engines (ICEs). The research results showed that the purification efficiency of some methods reaches 96-99%. The analysis demonstrated that a composite air purification approach, namely the combination of mechanical filtration and ultrasonic purification methods, makes it possible to ensure environmental safety and improve purification efficiency. The effectiveness of using this approach for air purification in the air intake system of an ICE was considered.
