How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Based on materials from a comprehensive ethnographic expedition, this article examines the preservation of generational continuity through the systematic collection of the intangible cultural heritage of the Aktobe region Kazakhs. The study aims to identify the contemporary significance and generational continuity of the intangible cultural heritage of the Kazakhs of the Aktobe region through its comprehensive inventory, scientific analysis, and systematization. It highlights the crucial role of individual bearers and local communities in preserving and transmitting this heritage, documents the experience of bearers, and introduces regional features into scientific circulation. During field research across settlements of the Aktobe region, samples of intangible cultural heritage were identified corresponding to 79 elements of the National Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 14 elements of the UNESCO Representative List, with original materials documented at national and regional levels. The research employed methods of participant observation, interviewing, identification and recording of oral and material sources, and data processing.A comprehensive regional register of intangible cultural heritage elements and their bearers was compiled for the first time, identifying several new elements recommended for inclusion in the National Register. Additionally, specific preparation techniques for region-specific traditional dishes were determined.
