Abstract
The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the philosophical problems of ethnography based on the scientific heritage of Khalel Argynbayev. In the modern academic space, ethnography is considered one of the cognitive approaches that explains the worldview of a peaple and their cultural experience. From this perspective, the reveal the semantic dimensions of national values and social experience. The study identifies the philosophical foundations of the worldview, social and cultural existence of the Kazakh ethnos through an analysis of Khalel Argynbayev’s works from the perspective of the philosophy of ethnography. During the research, the scholar’s scientific works devoted to Kazakh genealogy, family and marriage, traditional livestock breeding, handicrafts and material culture were examined as objects of philosophical interpretation. In this context, ethnographic data were analyzed not only within the framework of historical and functional description, but also from ontological, axiological, and epistemological perspectives. The results of the study demonstrate that in Khalel Argynbayev’s works, the main social institutions of Kazakh society are represented as an interconnected and holistic worldview system. The scholar’s scientific heritage made a significant contribution to the formation and development of the philosophy of ethnography and serves as a fundamental theoretical basis for the philosophical understanding of national identity. The conclusions of the article are aimed at the further development of the philosophy of ethnography and at a deeper study of Khalel Argynbayev’s works within the context of contemporary humanities research.
