How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The paper shows the promising application of ionizing radiation for directional modification of structural characteristics of nickel nanotubes and increasing the resource lifetime. As bombarding beams, Ca 5+ ions with an energy of 68 MeV were used. The fluence of radiation was 10 10 and 10 11 ions cm −2 . To assess the degradation of nanostructures morphology before and after the life test, the method of scanning electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction was applied. During tests it was found that for modified nanostructures an increase in the number of cycles from 344 to 607 and 651 is observed. The increase in the lifetime of the anode material for irradiated samples is due to the removal of stresses and distortions in the crystal lattice, as well as partial annealing of defects as a result of irradiation.
