How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article focuses on examining the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies on the process of teaching English in higher education and identifying the prospects for their effective integration into educational practice, particularly for students of STEM specialties. The authors consider a range of modern AI tools, including chatbots, automated writing assistants, and digital vocabulary platforms, and analyze their role in enhancing language learning outcomes. The study is based on a combination of theoretical analysis and an empirical investigation using a quasi-experimental design with control and experimental groups. The experimental group engaged in AI-supported learning over an eight-week period, while the control group followed traditional instructional methods. The results demonstrate that the use of AI technologies leads to significant improvements in key language competencies, including vocabulary acquisition, writing accuracy, and speaking fluency. Statistical analysis using an independent samples t-test confirmed the significance of the observed differences. The findings indicate that artificial intelligence has substantial potential to optimize the process of teaching English by providing personalized, interactive, and efficient learning opportunities. The authors conclude that the successful implementation of AI requires its systematic integration into traditional teaching approaches and adaptation to the individual needs of learners.
