How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines the history of the formation and development of the education system in the West Kazakhstan region in the first half of the 20th century. The study analyzes the establishment of the first educational institutions, the features of the educational process, and the impact of Soviet educational policy. Special attention is given to teacher training, the material and technical base of schools, and changes in public attitudes toward education. The author highlights the role of the regional education system in shaping the modern educational environment. The study draws upon the works of historians and scholars published during the Soviet and post-Soviet periods, archival materials, and encyclopedic sources. Particular attention is also paid to the role of educational and enlightenment activities among the population of the Ural region and to the activities of educational institutions, including schools, vocational schools, technical colleges, and institutes. The article also highlights representatives of the Kazakh intelligentsia who received their education at educational institutions in the region. The aim of the work is to present well‑reasoned data on the state of education in the Ural region in the Kazakh language, maintaining chronological sequence. The value of the research lies in the fact that many works and data are in Russian, while here they are written in our language. The scientific article can be considered as a single piece of a unified work on the study of the region’s education system.
