How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines an elective course aimed at developing students’ cybersecurity skills in a digital educational environment. Today, the internet, social media, and various digital services are constantly used by schoolchildren in their studies and everyday communication. At the same time, the likelihood of encountering phishing, malicious software, online fraud, and the spread of personal data is increasing. Therefore, it is important not only to familiarize students with existing threats but also to teach them to recognize dangerous situations and choose a safe course of action. During the study, a survey of students was conducted, and the results identified the most relevant topics for the course. The data obtained were used in shaping the content of the elective course. Based on the study results, recommendations were proposed for selecting educational material and organizing practical work. This approach makes it possible to link the study of cybersecurity with real‑life situations that students may encounter when using the internet, and to gradually foster responsible digital behavior.
