How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The issue of occupational safety in the Republic of Kazakhstan remains highly relevant due to the increasing number of workplace injuries and accidents. Every year, millions of injuries and hundreds of thousands of fatalities occur in the production sector. In the context of economic growth and intensifying labor processes, ensuring workplace safety has become particularly critical. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of occupational safety in Kazakhstan and outlines pathways for its improvement. The study examines the causes of industrial injuries and relevant statistical data, identifying key problems in the management of occupational risks. The importance of implementing modern approaches – such as machine learning algorithms, digital modeling, risk forecasting, and the adoption of international best practices (USA, Germany, Japan) – is substantiated. The article also offers concrete recommendations for enhancing workplace safety, including legal reforms, the integration of digital technologies, the development of a safety culture, and the consideration of human factors. The findings contribute to the modernization of Kazakhstan’s occupational safety system and support effective planning for the prevention of workplace accidents
