How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the efficacy of the tech-based application called Read&Write in improving writing proficiency among elementary-level university students. With a sample of 60 students divided into four groups of 15, this study employs a quantitative research methodology to assess the impact of the application on students’ writing skills. The main objective is to bridge the existing gap in writing proficiency through the integration of technology into the learning process. Data were collected through pre- and post-intervention assessments, focusing on various aspects of writing, including grammatical accuracy, lexical resource, coherence and cohesion and task achievement. The findings are anticipated to provide valuable insights into the potential of technology in fostering effective writing skills among university students, highlighting the importance of adopting innovative solutions in education. This research seeks not only to contribute to the academic literature but also to provide practical recommendations for educators aiming to improve writing proficiency in their classrooms through the implementation of technological tools.
