How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract This study presents a combined numerical and action research of burning aspects, nitrogen oxide formation in a micro-flame front device heat generator operating under high excess air conditions. The analysis covers a wide range of air excess ratios (α = 4.4–10), representative of practical heating system regimes. Numerical model was executed using ANSYS Fluent, employing a pressure-based solver, the realizable k–ε turbulence model, and a non-premixed kindling approach. The interplay among stream dynamics, blending intensity, thermal field distribution is examined in detail. The results demonstrate that increasing inlet air velocity enhances turbulent mixing, leading to a more uniform temperature field and reduced peak temperatures. This effect significantly suppresses thermal NO x formation. The study confirms the potential of micro-flame combustion technology for stable and low-emission heat generation.
