How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

A scientific and methodological approach has been developed to determine optimal parameters for the slopes of quarry benches and walls, based on comprehensive geomechanical studies of rock masses conducted directly in the rock masses adjacent to the quarry walls using core samples from specially drilled engineering-geological boreholes to determine the dimensions of structural blocks, the massif quality index, and the structural weakening coefficient, as well as parallel laboratory studies of the strength and physical properties of the rock. The stability of quarry walls is assessed using various calculation methods, which confirms their reliability and good convergence. Progressive parameters are recommended for bench slopes and quarry walls with a height of 300 m and inclination angles of up to 50°, provided there is a sufficient stability margin-which must meet regulatory requirements-greater than 1.3.
