How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Artemisia stelleriana Besser (syn. Artemisia chinensis Pursh), a perennial species of the Asteraceae family, is native to East Asia and North America. This study examines the anatomical structure, essential oil (EO) composition, and biological activities of A. stelleriana collected in the Russian Far East. Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) analysis revealed the presence of α-pinene (44.3%), δ-cadinene (10.4%), γ-cadinene (4.8%), and β-phellandrene (3.2%) as the major constituents. Antimicrobial screening showed weak inhibition against the tested bacterial and fungal strains, while antimalarial evaluation revealed 40% inhibition of Plasmodium falciparum D6. No significant leishmanicidal activity was detected. Anatomical analysis revealed a high density of essential oil glands and schizogenous ducts. These findings contribute to the phytochemical and ethnopharmacological understanding of this underexplored Artemisia species.
