How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

One Noctuidae genus and two species of the tribe Xylenini are reported from Kazakhstan for the first time. The genus Bryomixis Ronkay & Varga, 1990 with its only species Bryomixis lichenosa L. Ronkay & Varga, 1990, which was previously known from south-eastern and eastern Uzbekistan, is herein reported from the West Tien Shan Mountains within South Kazakhstan, and placed in the subtribe Pseudohadenina Ronkay & Fibiger, 2007. The second species also belonging to Pseudohadenina, the recently described Eremohadena afzalipouri Shirvani, 2012 was previously known only from its type locality in south-eastern Iran. The new finding of E. afzalipouri in the West Tien Shan Mountains suggests that the species is likely widely distributed in Central Asia and most if not all records of the sister E. chenopodiphaga (Rambur, 1832) belong to E. afzalipouri while the range of the former species is restricted by the Mediterranean.
