How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article provides an analytical review of the current state and development prospects of Leach-Solvent Extraction-Electrowinning (L-SX-EW) technology within the global and domestic copper industries. The study analyzes the mineral resource base of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including major copper deposits in the East and Central regions. Attention is given to solvent extraction flowsheets, the impact of mineralogical composition, and key technological challenges in processing oxidized and mixed copper ores. The paper highlights the historical role of «VNIItsvetmet» in the development of regional hydrometallurgical technologies and research approaches. The work systematizes data on modern technological schemes and principal efficiency factors of the L-SX-EW process, confirming its vital role in maintaining the long-term competitiveness of Kazakhstan’s copper sector.
