How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Purpose. Comprehensive analysis of the mining-geological and technological conditions of the Boguty deposit (Kazakhstan) to develop science-based recommendations for enhancing mining efficiency through digital modeling methods. Methodology. The research employs an integrated approach, including 3D wireframe modeling of ore bodies, GIS analysis of exploration data, and techno-economic optimization of mining parameters. Slope stability modeling and assessment were performed using Micromine, Surpac, and Rocscience (Examine2D) software suites, accounting for structural-tectonic features and the hydrodynamic regime of the rock mass. Findings. It was established that optimizing drilling and blasting parameters – increasing bench height to 15 m and the working face angle to 75° – reduces operational losses to 2.9 % and the dilution coefficient to 6.4 %. Precision geometrization of the deposits was shown to ensure high mining selectivity and a 15–20 % reduction in oversize yield. Economic analysis confirmed the project’s high profitability (NPV ~$320 million, IRR 18–20 %) while ensuring regulatory slope stability. Originality. An integrated wireframe modeling methodology was developed, considering the synergistic impact of tectonic disturbances and ore body morphology on reserve recovery indicators. For the first time for this specific site, a mathematical relationship between the geometry of the working bench and the quality of the extracted raw materials has been substantiated. Practical value. The proposed technological solutions enhance the completeness of mineral extraction, reduce ore production costs to $18–20/t, and minimize the environmental footprint. The developed methodological approaches can be adapted for open-pit design at deposits with similarly complex structural conditions.
