How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive approach to studying the influence of low-power wind turbine’s structural elements design, such as confuser, diffuser, and cone, on its efficiency. The turbine geometry was created in the ANSYS DesignModeler environment and analyzed using ANSYS Fluent 2024 R1. The streamline distributions of velocity and pressure were examined for various configurations of the confuser, diffuser, and cone. Based on the simulation results, the optimal angles of attack for these components were identified, providing practical design recommendations for closed-type wind turbines. The proposed configuration has the potential to increase the wind velocity by up to 1.9 times at optimal angles, demonstrating the effectiveness of an integrated design approach in enhancing turbine efficiency.
