How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of regional museums of Soviet industrial Kazakhstan as a medium for the articulation of the Soviet industrialization narrative. The scientific and applied significance of the work lies in the creation of a toolkit that considers the issues of studying ideological discourses in the context of their representation in museum narratives that have contributed both political and moral institutions to the construction of “memories of the past”, analysis of the subjective aspect of the process of constructing political discourses. The article highlights the experience of conceptualizing the institutional Soviet political discourse through the articulation of the «meanings» of Soviet industrialization, broadcast in memorial memory in Kazakhstani regional museums. The study may be of interest to specialists in the growing field of memory research and the postcolonial paradigm.
