How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Public speaking plays an important role in society. This direction requires daily development and literacy. In particular, the speaker’s diction and the ability to correctly convey thoughts and emotions show the features of speech. This article discusses the main characteristics of public speaking and its types. In the course of the study, a public opinion poll was conducted in order to identify the factors influencing the formation of the speaker’s own style. So, 31 respondents took part in the survey and answered 15 questions related to public speaking. Questions address fears, emotions, and factors that affect a speaker’s ability to speak in public. First, there was carried out a descriptive analysis of the personal data of survey participants, based on their answers. The respondents’ answers showed that it is possible to achieve public speaking skills through reading literature and observing other speakers, and exchange of experiences.
