How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

The key problems have been identified, concerning the importance of an interdisciplinary approach, the competencies of teachers, the competencies of pupils and students. The benefits of using STEM education include improving the English language skills of both subject teachers and students, gaining methodological experience, using code switching and other integrated approaches. Among the possible solutions to the problems of STEM education, there is noted the need to develop a unified standard for STEM education, as well as the introduction of new STEM disciplines into curricula, support for subject teachers in their readiness for online education and digital learning, the use of methods of active involvement of students in online STEM courses and constant support for students’ motivation to learn
