How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In the phosphate production process, significant amounts of technogenic wastes are generated, among which phosphogypsum and off-balance phosphate-silicate ores can be distinguished. These wastes pose a serious threat to the environment and human health, as hazardous dust particles enter the atmosphere during their processing. In this study, environmentally friendly methods of recycling these wastes into sustainable construction materials were considered. Differential thermal analysis (DTA) was performed to study the processes of thermal decomposition and phase transformations of raw materials. Then, mixtures of phosphogypsum and off-balance phosphate-silicate ore were prepared, molded, and pressed in mass ratios of 1:3 and 1:4. Pressing was carried out at a pressure from 2.5 to 35 MPa. During the study, the mechanical properties of the obtained materials, such as compressive strength, bulk density, and water resistance, were carefully analyzed. These results prove that hazardous waste generated during phosphate production can be successfully recycled into durable and environmentally friendly building materials. This opens the way to creating an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solution to the problem. This strategy makes it possible to use resources efficiently and minimize the harm caused to the environment. This study highlights the importance of waste recycling in the construction industry in the context of global efforts to achieve sustainable development. The novelty of this study lies in the combined utilization of phosphogypsum and off-balance ores for the production of eco-safe composite construction materials and in the investigation of their thermal behavior and mechanical properties under different pressing pressures.
