How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines current trends, key challenges, and prospects for the development of livestock farming in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Based on an analysis of livestock population dynamics, industry structure, and production volumes in recent years, the key patterns and factors influencing the sector’s status are identified. It is shown that, despite a steady increase in livestock and poultry numbers, uneven development is observed in individual livestock sectors, as well as a decline in the production of certain products. Particular attention is paid to assessing the effectiveness of government support measures, including programs for breeding stock renewal, modernization of processing facilities, and digitalization of the industry. It is noted that systemic problems—feed shortages, low utilization rates at processing plants, and administrative costs—continue to limit growth rates. Based on this analysis, prospects for further development of the industry are formulated, related to increased productivity, expanded exports, digital transformation, and deeper specialization of livestock farms.
