How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines the impact of the industrial development of the economy of Kazakhstan on ensuring the country's food security. It is shown that industrialization contributes to the growth of agricultural productivity, increased capital security of enterprises, modernization of the machine and tractor fleet and the introduction of innovative technologies, which in turn strengthens domestic food production and reduces dependence on imports. The structure of Kazakhstan's imports for 2024-2025 is analyzed, key commodity groups with high import dependence (animal and plant products, mineral fertilizers, chemical materials, energy carriers and equipment) are identified, as well as sources of their supplies from CIS countries and far abroad. It is shown that technological and infrastructural dependence creates systemic risks for food security and limits the development opportunities of the processing industry. It is noted that the key factors for the sustainable development of the food system are the development of the processing industry, diversification of supply sources, improvement of logistics infrastructure and advanced training of agricultural personnel. The conclusions formulate recommendations for government policy in the field of import substitution, increasing labor productivity, introducing modern technologies and strengthening the country's food sustainability.
