How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Air purification is a critical process aimed at removing harmful impurities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for human life and activity.Overall, rice husk demonstrates significant potential in environmental engineering as a source of valuable materials and a key component of the circular bioeconomy, contributing to pollution reduction and the enhancement of production system sustainability.A carbon–silicon sorbent produced from carbonized rice husk was used to fabricate filters because of its high porosity, large specific surface area, and carbon–silica structure. This paper presents the antibacterial and antifungal efficacy of impregnated carbon-silicon filters. Antibacterial activity was studied on Bacillus paramycoidesandPseudomonaskoreensisstrainsusingthediffusionmethodonasolidnutrientmedium, and antifungal efficacy was studied on strains Fusarium spp. and Penicillium spp. Tests showed that sorbent sampleswithdifferentactiveingredientconcentrationsexhibitedvaryinglevelsofbacterialandfungalgrowth inhibition, with sample No. 2 carbonized rice husk+10%I2demonstrating the highest activity.Optimizing the sorbent composition and increasing the concentration of active components can enhance its antibacterial properties.
