How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article presents the results of a comprehensive assessment of entrepreneurship development in the regions of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the study is to develop a methodological approach to a comprehensive assessment of the entrepreneurial activity of SMEs in the regions of Kazakhstan, taking into account the potential and contribution of entrepreneurship to the socio-economic development of the region. The information base of the study was data from the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, data from the Damu Foundation. Methods of comparative, structural analysis, index methods, methods of normalization and integral assessment, methods of rating assessment are used. The study analyzed the dynamics of the number of SMEs, their contribution to GRP, output, and gross value added. A comprehensive assessment was carried out based on the development of an integrated assessment. A rating of Kazakhstan's regions on SME development has been compiled. The results of the analysis indicate a positive trend while maintaining significant interregional differentiation in terms of the level of entrepreneurial activity and the economic efficiency of SMEs. A differentiated approach to SME support is recommended, taking into account the socio-economic, natural and climatic specifics of the regions, the socio-demographic situation, the business environment, spatial and sectoral concentration, accessibility of transport and energy infrastructure and the costs associated with them.
