How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The relevance of the research is due to the fact that the digital transformation of the banking sector is becoming one of the key factors in increasing the stability and competitiveness of banks in the context of the development of the digital economy. It was revealed that for the banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the introduction of digital technologies has not only technological, but also economic significance, as it affects operational efficiency, revenue structure, customer service quality and financial results. The article examined the impact of digital transformation on the financial performance of banks in Kazakhstan, considered the main directions of digitalization, including the development of mobile banking, the introduction of digital technology solutions in the field of financial services, artificial intelligence, big data, automation of business processes and digital channels of interaction with customers. Special attention was paid to the analysis of how digital technologies affect key performance indicators of banks, including profitability, reduction of transaction costs, expansion of the customer base and formation of equity. The study identified the main factors through which digitalization affects the financial stability of banks: the level of technological modernization, the scale of use of remote services, investments in digital infrastructure, the quality of data management and the level of cybersecurity. The barriers to digital transformation associated with the high cost of technology implementation, the shortage of qualified personnel and the uneven technological development of the banking sector have also been identified. The results of the study showed that digital transformation has a positive impact on the efficiency of banking activities by optimizing costs, increasing the availability of services and increasing banks' adaptability to changes in the external environment. It has been established that digital solutions can be an important factor in strengthening the financial stability of banks and indirectly contribute to the growth of equity through increased profitability and quality of risk management. Digital transformation should be considered not only as a technological upgrade of the banking system, but also as an economic tool to strengthen the financial stability of banks.
