How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article explores contemporary pedagogical approaches to working with gifted children in the context of current educational trends, including digitalization, competency-based and learner-centered approaches, inclusion, and differentiation. Special attention is given to models such as Joseph Renzulli’s Three-Ring Conception of Giftedness, Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences theory, Carol Ann Tomlinson’s differentiated instruction, Montessori pedagogy, project-based and problem-based learning. The theoretical framework is based on a synthesis of domestic and international research and best practices in gifted education and teacher preparation. An empirical study conducted among secondary school teachers in Pavlodar city and region revealed a moderate level of readiness across cognitive, emotional-motivational, and practical components for working with gifted students. The findings emphasize the need for systematic methodological support, the integration of innovative technologies (including VR/AR), and ongoing professional development of educators in this field. The study concludes by emphasising the need to develop an integrative model for teacher training that ensures the individualisation of gifted children’s education while simultaneously addressing the challenges posed by contemporary changes in the education system.
