How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal trauma is a major public health challenge that contributes significantly to disability, reduced quality of life, and increased healthcare costs worldwide. Effective rehabilitation plays a crucial role in restoring physical function, preventing long-term complications, and improving patient independence after injury. Recent evidence highlights the importance of multidisciplinary rehabilitation, early mobilization, patient-centered care, regenerative rehabilitation strategies, and behavioral interventions to optimize functional recovery. Modern rehabilitation programs integrate physical therapy, psychological support, patient education, and individualized treatment planning to achieve better clinical outcomes. Furthermore, current international guidelines emphasize continuous assessment, evidence-based interventions, and shared decision-making throughout the rehabilitation process. This review summarizes recent evidence regarding rehabilitation following musculoskeletal trauma and discusses contemporary strategies that improve recovery and functional outcomes in orthopedic patients.
