How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The purpose of the study: development of the concept of sustainable development of the territory of the North Kazakhstan region using world practices based on spatial and landscape analysis. Research methods. Comparative analysis and the monographic method are the basis of this scientific research. With their help, the existing world practices on sustainable landscape development in a number of countries, have been systematized and analyzed. A systematic approach was applied to the preparation of a set of measures to assess the landscape potential of the territory at the local level (at the level of the district and the business entity). Research results. The analysis of the world practice in managing the sustainable development of the territory, carried out by the authors, showed the unity of methodological approaches based on the assessment of environmental and socio-economic conditions. The concept of sustainable development of the territory of the North Kazakhstan region, developed by the authors, is based on taking into account the uniqueness of these conditions and involves the development of agricultural landscapes by evaluating them according to a variety of indicators. The constructed models assume a sufficient number of scenarios aimed at optimizing anthropogenic use of the territory. Conclusions. 1. The scientific article presents the results of a study related to the application of world experience in spatial landscape planning when creating a concept for the sustainable development of the territory of the North Kazakhstan region in the Republic of Kazakhstan. 2. Differences have been established in the management and organization of land use in the USA, China, Canada, Russia and Germany. The strengths of various approaches and the existing disadvantages in spatial landscape planning are identified. The unique features of the research area related to soils, geomorphology, hydrology, climate and other factors and conditions limiting the use are shown. The studied specifics of the territory have shown the need to optimize agricultural landscapes, which occupy three quarters of the area. The concept of sustainable development management is proposed, and the stages of work necessary for its implementation are highlighted. A set of seventeen calculated indicators characterizing the sustainability of agricultural landscapes has been identified. The work related to the classification of lands by agroecological types has been clarified, which will make it possible to identify groups, subgroups, classes, subclasses, genera and subgenera of lands and smaller tax units, subject to appropriate research. The models of sustainability management of agro-landscapes of the North Kazakhstan region are presented, which are based on an assessment of the ecological and socio-economic potential of the territory. 3. The results of scientific research can be used in building a decision support system for the natural and economic development of the territory of the North Kazakhstan region in the context of sustainable development.
