How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In recent years, there have been reports on the possibility of using the nail plate for interlayer keratoplasty. However, the issue of sterilizing this tissue remains unexplored. Рurpose. Тo investigate the thermal effects on the structure of nail plate implants for ker atoplasty. Material and methods. Fragments of adult human nail plates were collected for the study. The samples were immersed in boiling distilled water for 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 45 minutes. All samples underwent standard histological processing. Results. The least changes in tissue structure were observed during boiling for 5 and 15 minutes, which allows us to recommend these modes for sterilization of nail implants. Conclusion. Сhanges in the implant samples from the nail plate for keratoplasty are observed When exposed to heat. The least changes in the tissue structure were observed during boiling for 5 and 15 minutes, which allows us to recommend these modes for sterilization of nail implants.
