Abstract
This article provides information on the mineralogical and petrochemical composition of diatomite raw materials at the Zhalpak deposit in Aktobe region. Methods of X-ray diffraction analysis and chemical analysis were used for this purpose. Quartz has been identified as the main mineral containing Diatomite. This suggests that the raw material can be used as a source of silicon. In addition, minerals contained in clay, such as kaolinite and illite, were observed. During the goochemical analyses, it was also found that along with a high content of silicon, elements such as vanadium, chromium, barium and nickel are present. Due to the peculiarities of the composition and structure of diatomite, construction, agriculture, medicine indicate that it can be used in many more areas. And it can be seen that the features and effectiveness of the use of this raw material in various fields are of interest to scientific directions. Its suction and filtering properties are also studied and adequately evaluated. Only small differences can be observed depending on the location and conditions of the plate.
