How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Actinobacteria are a large group of Gram-positive microorganisms widely distributed in natural ecosystems, including agroecosystems, and frequently associated with plants. They produce a broad spectrum of biologically active secondary metabolites that are used in medicine, agriculture, and other fields. In soil–plant systems, actinobacteria can form mutually beneficial interactions with plants, and their multifunctional enzymatic machinery supports nutrient cycling and improves soil quality. The key components of direct and indirect biocontrol of phytopathogens carried out by actinobacteria include: the production of antifungal and antimicrobial compounds, competitive regulation of the rhizosphere composition, nitrogen-fixing and phosphate-mobilizing activities, the synthesis of siderophores and extracellular hydrolytic enzymes, the induction of host plant resistance, and the production of phytohormones. The combined action of these mechanisms underpins the promise of actinobacteria as the basis for synergistic inoculants aimed at increasing agroecosystem resilience and crop yields while reducing the need for chemical fertilizers and plant-protection products.
