How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of using visual tools in the process of forming the concept of a function among 7th grade students. The main purpose of the study is to determine the impact of modern tools on the development of students’ skills of analysis, comprehension, and interpretation. The research question focuses on how visual learning contributes to the effective understanding of function properties (increasing, decreasing, and intersection) and improves the quality of learning. The results indicate that GeoGebra, Desmos, and PhET programs enhance students’ abilities to transform function graphs, understand parametric relationships, and compare and interpret graphs. The study also takes into account challenges such as time constraints, a lack of technical resources, and language barriers. Future research is planned to continue in the direction of applying visual tools in distance learning. In addition, visual learning methods increase students’ interest in the subject, facilitate the meaningful comprehension of abstract concepts, promote mathematical thinking, independent reasoning, and the ability to connect knowledge with practice, strengthen learning motivation, encourage active participation, conscious task performance, result analysis, error correction, and the sustainable improvement of learning outcomes. This approach enables teachers to improve lesson structure, enhance the quality of instruction, systematically assess results, and support professional development.
