How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article examines the experience of implementing microcontroller platforms Arduino and single-payment computers Raspberry Pi in educational projects on automation, implemented in technical education institutions, within the framework of engineering training. The relevance of the publication is due to the need to increase the practical component of education and developed applied competences in students of technical fields. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of using these platforms in the educational process in terms of developing professional skills and competencies. The methodology includes analysis of students' project activities and comparison with traditional laboratory classes. Examples of completed educational projects are presented (prototypes of elements of the ‘Smart Home’ system, manipulator control, control of executive mechanisms). The conditions for project implementation and methods for evaluating results are described. The results showed an increase in students' interest in subjects related to automation, as well as an increase in independence and the quality of task completion. The feasibility of using open platforms, Arduino and Raspberry Pi, in conditions of limited resources was justified.. The practical significance lies in the possibility of adapting the methodology for universities and colleges in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including within the framework of implementing new-generation educational standards focused on digitalisation and engineering creativity.
