How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This study investigated the effects of temperature regimes during the transportation and temporary storage of heavy high-sulfur oil samples from the North Buzachi field on the quantitative and qualitative composition of the microbial community. Storage at 4 °C for 72 hours was found to ensure relative taxonomic stability, whereas storage at 20 °C resulted in a sharp four- to fivefold decrease in the abundance of viable aerobic heterotrophs and complete elimination of sensitive groups, particularly representatives of the genus Pseudomonas. The isolation of 17 pure cultures enabled the identification of a predominance of Gram-positive, spore-forming bacteria (59%), indicating the high adaptability of reservoir microbiota to extreme environmental conditions. Anaerobic sulfate-reducing bacteria remained stable under both temperature regimes, confirming the persistence of biocorrosion risks in a viscous oil matrix. These results are of practical importance for the development of industry regulations for microbiological monitoring at remote oil fields in Kazakhstan, ensuring the high representativeness of data for subsequent applications.
