How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Methods of snowmelt accumulation as a means of ensuring water security in the Republic of Kazakhstan are considered. The relevance of the topic is justified in the context of limited water resources, transboundary dependence of river flows and climate change. Analytical, predictive and engineering-hydraulic approaches, eco-hydraulic planning and monitoring methods were used. An analysis of threats to water security was carried out, including climate change, anthropogenic impacts and transboundary hydrological risks. The scientific results include the systematization of methods of snowmelt accumulation, the justification of reservoirs, transport infrastructure and engineering equipment to increase the efficiency of water supply and reduce erosion. The practical significance lies in the provision of an integrated approach to sustainable water resource management, increasing water security and adapting to climate change.
