How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Digital twins play a key role in Industry 4.0 by enabling transparent and reliable access to asset information across distributed environments. However, current Asset Administration Shell editing solutions provide only limited support for concurrent modifications and often depend on centralized infrastructures and stable network connections. This paper introduces a CRDT-based approach for collaborative AAS editing that enables conflict-free, decentralized, and resilient modification of digital twins. The approach enhances interoperability and supports collaboration by allowing engineers to work simultaneously and intuitively on shared AAS models without overwriting changes. We present a design for mapping AAS structures to CRDTs, implement a functional prototype, and evaluate its behavior in representative industrial collaboration scenarios.
