How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The paper studies the anisotropy of the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Al60Fe30Si10 metal-ceramic alloy obtained by additive synthesis using a horizontal melting electrode. As a result of the microscopic and mechanical tests, it was found that the structure of the material has a pronounced directionality due to the conditions of heat removal during solidification. It is shown that the morphology of the intermetallic phases and porosity directly depend on the direction of the heat flow, which causes significant anisotropy of the strength characteristics. The compression deformation diagrams demonstrate different behavior of the material in the longitudinal and transverse directions, confirming the influence of microstructural heterogeneity on the mechanical properties. It is revealed that optimization of the composition and/or technology for producing the alloy should be focused on controlling the mechanisms of nucleation and growth of phase components at the stages of crystallization and cooling in order to improve the homogeneity of the structure and reduce anisotropy
