How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The study was conducted to evaluate the possibility of adjusting the composition of the improved 30ХН2МА steel through microalloying with ferrosilicon boron, enabling its subsequent use as a wear-resistant material with properties comparable to Hardox steel. 30ХН2МА steel served as the base material, and ferrosilicon boron was added during the final minutes of melting. The boron content in the ferrosilicon boron was 0.9%, and the silicon content was 62%. Incorporation of this complex alloy allowed the steel to be simultaneously partially deoxidized and microalloyed with boron at a concentration of 0.002-0.003%. It was determined that, at a tempering temperature range of 400-450°C, its hardness, tensile strength, and wear resistance approach the corresponding parameters of Hardox 500 steel, supporting its recommendation as a wear-resistant material. Considering the widespread use of 30ХН2МА steel, its high hardenability, relatively good casting properties, low sensitivity to temper brittleness, and enhanced mechanical properties after boron microalloying, it can be considered a suitable wear-resistant material for the production of shaped castings
