How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article analyzes the role of gastronomic and bacchic concepts in shaping the national identity of Kazakhstan, as well as their linguistic manifestations. National dishes and beverages are considered as cultural phenomena that reflect ethnic uniqueness, cultural continuity, and worldview characteristics. The main aim of the article is to demonstrate the importance of gastronomic and bacchic concepts in forming the national identity of Kazakhstan and to identify national features through the analysis of their linguistic and cultural representations. The object of the study is the linguistic manifestations of gastronomic and bacchic concepts found in Kazakhstani media texts from 2020 to 2026, with a focus on the cultural and ethnocultural role of national dishes and beverages. Key symbols of Kazakh cuisine – kumys, meat, as well as the modern national brand “Kazakhstan” chocolate – are described in the context of the conceptosphere. Kumys is analyzed as an ethnocultural unit that reflects the ecological consciousness of the Kazakh people, their philosophy of harmonious coexistence with nature, and Kazakh national identity. Additionally, the article examines the role of “Kazakhstan” chocolate in the global market and its establishment as a national brand. Special attention is given to the axiological significance of gastronomic and bacchic concepts in characterizing the national mentality. In the analysis of language examples taken from journalistic materials, semantic-cognitive, component analysis, contextual analysis, conceptual analysis, and Google Ngram Viewer corpus analysis methods were used.
