How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract The reactions 238U(54Cr,4n)288Lv and 242Pu(50Ti,3-4n)288,289Lv were studied at the Dubna Gas-filled Recoil Separator (DGFRS-2). Three new isotopes were discovered: the α-decaying 288Lv and 289Lv, as well as the spontaneously fissioning 280Cn (observed after the α decay of 284Fl). The cross section of the 4n channel for the reaction 238U + 54Cr turned out to be approximately 15-fold lower than the total cross section of the reaction 242Pu + 50Ti at an excitation energy of 292Lv of 41 MeV. This indicates that the cross sections of reactions with actinides using 50Ti are roughly an order of magnitude greater than those with 54Cr for the synthesis of 119 and 120 elements.
