How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article analyzes the features of the spatial development of rural areas of Kazakhstan and their impact on the sustainable socio-economic development of the regions, examines theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of spatial differentiation of rural areas, summarizes modern scientific views on sustainable territorial development. Based on statistical data, socio-economic and infrastructural indicators reflecting spatial disparities between rural and urban areas were analyzed. The analysis of the dynamics of the rural population has been carried out, the factors determining the sustainability of rural areas have been considered, and regional differences in the level of their socio-economic development have been established. The analysis confirmed the significant importance of the spatial factor in ensuring the sustainable development of rural areas and its impact on regional differentiation. The authors found that ignoring spatial features and the lack of targeted regulatory mechanisms increase imbalances, contributing to an increase in migration outflow of the population, reducing the investment attractiveness of rural areas and deepening the socio-economic heterogeneity of the regions. In this regard, the need to expand the use of spatial planning tools, develop infrastructure and stimulate local entrepreneurial activity is justified, which made it possible to create sustainable growth points and increase the integration of rural areas into the national economy. Conclusions are drawn about the expediency of moving from universal support measures to differentiated strategies that take into account regional specifics and are aimed at improving the quality of life of the rural population and balanced socio-economic development of the country.
