How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In recent decades, lipid-based drug delivery systems have been widely studied in the technology of encapsulation of biologically active compounds in the nutraceutical and therapeutic industries. In this study, we have described the preparation and properties of β-cyclodextrin functionalized silver nanoparticles and their use in loading vitamin E molecules. β-CD has been used as a reducing agent and stabilizer in the production of silver nanoparticles. The formation of VE:β-CD:AgNPs nanocompositions was confirmed by UV spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction spectroscopy. Scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy showed that the resulting VE:β-CD:AgNPs nanocomposition was well dispersed with particle sizes in the range of 14-15 nm. 1H-, 13C-NMR nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy revealed reduction and encapsulation of AgNPs with β-CD, and the results of TEM images showed an increase in the size of compositions after administration of VE. The kinetics of thermal decomposition of the VE:β-CD inclusion complex by silver nanoparticles has been studied. The kinetic parameters of the decomposition reaction of the nanocomposition under isothermal conditions have been determined, ensuring the preservation of the kinetic triplet and a more accurate description of the process.
