How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

A BSTRACT Introduction: Exosomes are considered as a promising cell-free approach in regenerative urology. Current research trends in the field of urinary tract restoration using exosome technologies are summarized. Objectives and Tasks: The goal is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of publications on exosomes in regenerative urology from 2021 to 2026 and identify the main thematic areas and development prospects for the field. Materials and Methods: A total of 276 publications for the given query were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. The data was analyzed using Python (using pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, networkx, and other libraries) for quantitative and network analysis (authors, countries, keywords, thematic clusters). Results: The results reveal a steady increase in scientific output, with a notable surge after 2023, reflecting growing interest in cell-free therapeutic strategies. China emerged as the leading contributor in both publication volume and citation impact, supported by strong international collaborations. Keyword analysis identified exosomes, extracellular vesicles, and bladder cancer as dominant research themes, highlighting the central role of molecular mechanisms and translational applications. Thematic mapping demonstrated that cancer-related and extracellular vesicle research represent well-developed core areas, while emerging topics such as RNA-based biomarkers and diagnostic approaches indicate expanding research frontiers. Author-level analysis revealed a balance between high productivity and high-impact contributions, suggesting a distributed and collaborative research landscape. Conclusion: Overall, this study provides a systematic overview of exosome-based regenerative urology and offers valuable insights to guide future research and clinical translation.
