How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The possibility of describing experimental data on the astrophysical S factor for radiative proton capture on a 13C nucleus at energies in the range 0.03–0.8 MeV is considered within the potential cluster model involving forbidden states. It is shown that the energy dependence of this astrophysical S factor can be reasonably explained on the basis of the E1 transition to the 3 P 1-wave bound state of the 14N nucleus in the p 13C channel from the 3 S 1 wave of p 13C scattering in the resonance energy region around 0.55 MeV in the laboratory frame.
